Healing Sunflower Hands - Sold

About Healing Sunflower Hands:
This painting was created outdoors in May and June 2014. The weather was sunny, warm with moving air. The leaves of the trees rustled lightly in the wind while peaceful birds were chirping. The theme of the painting that day called for putting my hands on the canvas. I was in the process of noticing that my healing practice wanted to take on another dimension. In other words, I felt I was going through a change. I wasn't sure about things exactly. But, as I had always painted and drawn before being a mother, I went and picked up my old brushes to play around.
My hands are one of the main doorways in my daily healing work, so I put them on the canvas where they live as the first layer underneath the emerging sunflowers.
The Process:
Nothing is pre-meditated in this painting. As I go through the painting process the image appears by itself. I was on a quest to watch how I would go through a painting process after all those years of healing. Would it be like a healing session? I wondered.
The Sunflowers:
The sunflowers themselves are indicative of the light that emerged from my hands during that season as well as containing the seeds of life for future flowers. Sunflowers are perfect flowers as they are masculine and feminine in gender. Each seed contains the complete information for the next generation. In the same way energy transmitted in a healing session contains information necessary for the client. Information that long after the appointment continues to unfold and is made conscious. I learned that this happens even years after.
You will notice painted flowers, stylized flowers and simple outlines in the picture, speaking of the multidimensionality of reality that I engage in simultaneously when using my hands.
The Background:
The background is watery green, floaty, and also hints at the multidimensionality of reality that I encounter in a healing session. A sense of infinity speaks and the element of water is present, the spiritual element of the heart chakra.
Energetic Transmission:
The painting is imbued with my spiritual and healing presence which can be felt when one moves one's hands 1 inch over the surface of the canvas. The main vibration is 'peaceful healing'. The sunflowers emit a cool and warm "air" which brings continuous healing when looking at it or being in the same room where the painting is hung. With the help of the owner of this Healing Sunflower Hands, we will investigate further how this painting interacts with the viewer. I have a sense that the emissions of healing will adapt to the changing needs of the owner.
